University needs active sexual assault policy

The first published call for a university sexual assault policy. At the time of publication, the only such policy in existence was the 1986 "Regulations Concerning Complaints of Sexual Harassment." However, student activists wished to see a stand-alone policy on sexual assault, as well as improvements to the sexual harassment policy. Despite 25 years of student activism, a stand-alone policy was not passed by the McGill administration until 2016.
