Copyright and Take-Down Policy

Take-Down Policy:

In compiling the Feminist SNAP Archive, we have taken a number of steps to ensure that content is published with the permission of its owners and in an ethical manner. However, we recognize that making information and documents public can be complicated, especially when they deal with complex issues like gender violence. If you believe that an item in our archive infringes on copyright or contains defamatory content and/or errors, or if you have concerns about being publicly identifiable or for your personal safety due to your name appearing in our materials, please contact us via our contact us page.

When contacting us, please provide the following information: the URL of the item in question, your relationship to the item (copyright owner, author, named in the article, etc.), and the nature of your complaint or concern. If the complaint is related to copyright infringement, we require proof that you own the copyright of the item. The Feminist SNAP team will review your request and may remove or modify the item if we find that the request is well-founded.
